Faculty in the Forage-Livestock group conduct interdisciplinary research. Their expertise comes from 8 different divisions, colleges, and schools.


The faculty in the Forage-Livestock group conduct basic research, which feeds into the classroom, industry, and applied research. In addition, faculty conduct applied research, which is also taught in the classroom, through extension programs, and influences public policy.


Forage-livestock research is carried out in state-of-the-art facilities, including laboratories, environmental chambers, and field stations.  The 6 primary stations for this research are in the following 4 towns.
